Five years! That's how long I rented out bedrooms in my personal home on Airbnb, hosting guests from all over the world. One recurring review I often received was: "I’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over the world, and this is by far the best one!"

At first, I found it hard to believe. I’d think, “Really? My little bedroom in Redding, California is the best Airbnb you've stayed in?” But over time, as both a host and a guest booking Airbnbs in other states, I came to understand what set my place apart: my attention to detail. Through personal experience and learning things the hard way, I figured out how to craft a flawless Airbnb stay—so much so that guests frequently mentioned it was the best Airbnb experience they’d ever had.

Since I was working and studying full-time, I wasn’t often around to personally interact with my guests. This forced me to create an experience that was seamless and user-friendly, where guests felt comfortable, safe, and confident navigating everything on their own. And I succeeded!
